Southwest Fall Photography
The changing of the colors is such an expressive time of year. Fall is way too short for the incredible beauty that happens so brilliantly. Southwest Fall Photography - Dave Koch Fine Art Landscape Photography For Sale.
Fall is when Mother Nature has her fun. Colorscapes go wild, but only for a couple days. I hunt through the mountains and valleys waiting and hoping for peak colors, and shooting only when the time is right. Unfortunately, it is never the same. Some years work well at altitude, and other years pop next to rivers. So it is a game, and an exploration to find the best in autumn colors.
But the chase is the fun. Getting out into the mountains and valleys of Utah is a reward unto itself, even without great colors. I meet people, I see animals, and I am always surprised by things I find. The journey IS the reward; the images are just something I can use to remind myself of that journey. So come with me as I explore the Wasatch, Box Elder, Huntsville, the Uintas and more. See what you see, and tell me what you think!
