As much as I love hiking and spending time in the out doors.... I also see a lot of beauty in the cities, too. Buildings have a beauty and a symmetry all their own, and I find that appealing. But most of what drives my photography- in the city or in the wilds of nature- is the light. It is ALL about capturing unique light. Then I look at symmetry and lines. I want to see something pleasing to the eyes....

I have recently done a series on stadiums, too. I really love the big buildings, and these were a ton of fun to make images from. I also love neon at dusk and at night, and have spent a lot of time working in those areas to make images that appeal to me. What I am seeing most here is lines, light and color. I hope it makes you look more at the world around you, and see the beauty in the ordinary and the commonplace. You don't have to go to the mountains to see something incredible- sometimes it is right in front of you. You just have to look for it!
